Inscription

Parents are incorrectly noted on this page. My husband is directly descended from James WM Berrien. The parents of JWM Berrien were Major John Berrien, born 23 August 1760 in Rocky Hill, NJ/died 6 Nov 1815 and buried in Savannah, GA. His second wife was the mother of JWM Berrien (stepmother to John Macpherson Berrien) and her name was Williamina Sara Eliza Moore Berrien, born in or about 1771 in Charleston, SC/died 17 Feb 1838 (still searching for her grave, probably in Geogia).

Gravesite Details

Buried in a vault with his second wife in the Berrien / Noble Plot, 310 feet west on Myrtle Street from main gate entrance which is across from Klassing St. and Myrtle St. Section OR lot 488-1.
