Widow of C. S. Mears, Dies Tuesday; Prominent in Social Circles
Mrs. Harriet Mears, age 91, a pioneer resident of Madison, and prominent in social and artistic circles here for a span of years, died at the old family home, 116 East Gilman st., yesterday, following an illness of several weeks. She was the widow of Charles S. Mears.
Mrs. Mears leaves two daughters, Mrs. J. Howard Palmer and Miss Flora E. Mears, bot of this city; three grandchildren, Mrs. Robert N. McMynn, Charles H. Palmer and Mrs. Allan T. Pray; and seven great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the residence Thursday afternoon at 2:30, Riv. H. H. Limpkin of Grace Episcopal church officiating.
