Mrs. Sarah Ann Anthony, widow of the late Jacob Anthony, died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Miss Estella Anthony, West Main near Second street. She was born in Philadelphia in 1805 and came to this city with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Marsh, when a girl. She had resided in the house in which she died for the past fifty years. She leaves two sons and three daughters. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church, from which place the funeral will be held at 3 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. The following have been selected as pallbearers, James Snodgrass, H. A. Scribner, S. Addison Day, W. H. McKay, John E. Crane and William A. Hedden. - New Albany Evening Tribune 05 Jul 1895
