Services Held for Julia Olson
Funeral services for Julia Olson, who passed away at the Liberty County hospital Feb. 15, was held at the Burns Funeral Home in Shelby Feb. 18.
Julia Olson was born in Norway, Jan. 7, 1890. She came to McCloud, N.D., in 1891 with her parents. Oct. 24, 1909 she was married to Peder Olson in Minot, N.D., and in 1911 they moved to their homestead north of Lothair and lived there her entire life until she passed away. Her husband preceded her in death, also three sisters and two brothers. One brother passing away the same day.
Survivors are one daughter, and three sons; Mrs. Ovedia Rishoff of Shelby, and Edwin and Alvin of Galata, and Adolph of Chester; seven grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; also two sisters and one brother.
