Edwin P. "Eddie" Olson passed away suddenly Friday, July 16.
He was born Aug. 24, 1915, and was raised around the Chester and Galata area. He went to Shelby to live in 1940. He later married Delores A. Hefter.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs, Eugene (Blanche) Halverson of Idaho Falls, Ida. and Mrs. Tom (Linda) Howell of Shelby; two grandchildren, Steven Halverson and Tammy Howell; one sister, Mrs. Cyrus Rishoff, Shelby; two brothers, Adolph and Alvin of Chester. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Lou and his parents, Peter and Julia Olson.
Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, Shelby, burial in Mountain View cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Stover, Dick Klang, Eddie Renna, Bob Hannah, Ray Robbins and Leo Hawks.
