Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. Rev. Bruce McKenney and Rev. Jonathan Stern will officiate with burial at Knollwood Memorial Gardens.
She was born September 6, 1908, in the town of Carlton, Kewaunee County, Wis., daughter of the late Charles and Mary Juza Karl. She married Emil Glaeser on July 5, 1931, at Waukegan, Ill. He preceded her in death September 26, 1987. Mrs. Glaeser was employed at Schuette Brothers Dept. Store for many years until her retirement. She was a member of the Manitowoc Senior Center and Homemakers Club of the Senior Center. She was a charter member of the Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church and the Ladies Aide of the church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Lois and Edwin Seil of Juneau, Wis.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Edward and Blanche Karl of Manitowoc, B.J. Karl of Manitowoc; two grandchildren, Martin Sell and Karen Plamann; five great grandchildren, Melissa and Lee Plamann, Jocelyn, Benjamin and Nicholas Sell; a brother-in-law and his wife, Walter and Edna Glaeser of Valders; a sister-in-law, Rose Barilla of Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil, on September 26, 1987, four brother and five sisters.
Friends may call at the church from 12:00 noon Monday until the time of services. There will be no Sunday evening visitation. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
