Funeral services for Frank C. Pohlman age 70 of Rock Island, Illinois who died Thursday, will be held at 4 p. m. Saturday from the Wheels funeral home.
The body will then be sent to the Ross mortuary in Montezuma, Iowa, where additional services will be held Monday afternoon. Burial will be in the Montezuma cemetery.
Born in 1876 in Salem, Illinois, Mr. Pohlman was reared and educated there. He married Marie Ludden in Waterloo, Iowa, in 1932, and came to Rock Island two years later. A former tavern owner, the decedent had been a fireman at the Rock Island Armory for the past three years.
He was of Lutheran faith and was a member of the Odd Fellows lodge of Montezuma.
Surviving in addition to the widow, are four daughters by a previous marriage, Margaret Iverson of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Mrs. Paul Halterman, Grinnell. Iowa, Mrs. Rock Moore, Iowa City, and Edward J Birnbaum, Philadelphia, Pa., and three sons, Clifford, of Wisconsin, and Howard and Frank, of Grinnell.
