As a tribute of respect to the memory of Hannah Nixon who died Janry. 20th 1835, aged 86 years this stone is erected, by the Curate of this parish. "The hoary head is a crown of glory, if it be found, in the way of rightousness {sic}. "A meek and quiet spirit in the Sight of God, is of great price. Christ known in life, is peace in death, and glory in eternity.
