Great Grandma Katie was the youngest of seven children born to Lena and Joseph Tillman. She was born in St. Louis and came to Kansas City with her mother and brother Charles in the mid 1880s. On December 8, 1887, she married Henry Lubke, in Kansas City, Missouri, where their first two children were born. By 1895 they had moved to the Kansas side, where they had three more children. After their last child, Harry, was born in 1902, Great Grandma became ill and passed away. Shortly after her death, baby Harry passed away from milk fever. She is buried with her mother and baby Harry.
