Colin C. Brash, 77, of 111 Seymour Ave., West Hartford, died Wednesday morning at Hartford Hospital. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, he lived in West Hartford the past 30 years and was a machinist at United Tool and Die Co. there until his retirement in 1948. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hartford. Besides his wife, Mrs. Margaret Gall Brash, he leaves two sons, Walter A. Brash of West Hartford and Robert G. Brash of Vernon; three daughters, Mrs. Daniel L. Hair of Manchester, Mrs. Mary B. Cyr of West Hartford and Mrs Robert J. Reynolds of St. Petersburg, Fla.; three brothers, James H. Brash and J. Gordon Brash, both of West Hartford, and Andrew A. Brash of Hartford; and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church of Hartford. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford. Friends may call at Newkirk and Whitney Funeral Home, 776 Farmington Ave., West Hartford, today from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m.
