Well-known Bavarian hotel proprietress. Daughter of Karl Schuster, owner of the Hotel Zum Tuerken on the Obersalzberg, Berchtesgaden, Germany. Schuster made his hotel famous with celebrities of the period, but he was forced to sell out to the Nazis in 1933 (his hotel was immediately adjacent to Adolf Hitler's house). The hotel was badly bombed at the end of World War II, but Theresa Partner was able to regain ownership, and rebuilt the hotel. It is again one of the most popular establishments in the Bavarian Alps.
