Erma L. Jones Greer, 91, of Louisville KY, passed away, July 24th, 2022. Erma was born, May 16th, 1931, to her parents Alma and Roscoe Deacon, she was one of six children in a bustling household.
She was a stay-at-home mom of three children. Erma did everything she could to fill her home with laughter and love. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing, pitching cornhole, quilting, and time on the lake. Erma was also a proud member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and loyal friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles M. Jones, and Herbert T. Greer Sr.; and her daughter, Patricia Lois Adwell (Dennis); one brother and three sisters.
Erma is survived by her children, Rebecca Ann Jarrard (Steve), and Alford Garrett Jones (Cindy); seven grandchildren and nineteen greatgrandchildren; and sister, Juanita Salsman.
Services will be on Thursday, July 28th, 10:00am, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY, 40216. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 27th, 2:00pm-8:00pm, at the funeral home.
