Gladys Faye Cagle, 82, Towanda, died Sunday July 15 at her home in Towanda. Visitation with the family present will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, July 18 at Carlson Funeral Home, El Dorado. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, July 21 at Towanda First Baptist Church, with burial of cremains following in Mulvane Cemetery, Mulvane, Kansas/

She was born on January 3, 1930 in Wellsford, KS, the daughter of Rev. Doran Nathaniel and Katie May Grabeel McAllister. She graduated from Oakley, KS High School in 1947 and then received a Business Degree from Brown Mackie College in 1949. She was married to Joseph Cagle on February 12, 1960 in Wichita. He preceded her in death. She had a home daycare called Mr. & Mrs. C's. Gladys was a member of First Baptist Church, Towanda; enjoyed playing cards and bingo and cooking; she gave to those in need and had a very open heart.

Those who survive include a son and his wife Ron and Julie Jones, Manhattan, KS; a daughter Marie Bryson, Towanda; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers and sisters.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials for Hospice Care of Kansas or Towanda First Baptist Church.
