Mrs. Ella A. Lewis

Findley Lake--Mrs. Ella A. Lewis, 90, died Saturday at the home of her son, Dae Lewis of this place. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bemis and had lived here all her like. Besides her son, she is survived by a grand daughter, Mrs. Henry Howe of Kittanning, PA., also an adopted granddaughter Mrs. Milton Reed of Niagara Falls, N.Y.., four great grand children, and several nieces and nephews. Her husband William Lewis, preceded her in death 12 years ago, also a daughter Mrs. Lina Cummings, and a granddaughter, Mrs. Leda Owen. Mrs. Lewis was the oldest living member of the United Brethren Church here, and a charter member of the Woman's Missionary Society which was organized over 60 years ago. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm., at the Mark's Funeral Home, North East, PA., with Rev. Lloyd Hauser, pastor of the Findley Lake United Brethren Church officiating. Interment will be on the family lot in the State Line Cemetery which is located on Highway No. 20.
