Alfred Browning, Frakes, departed this life on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at his home. He was 70 years, 11 months, and 17 days of age.

He was born on March 30, 1941 in Bell County to the late Oscar and Nannie Browning.

He was also preceded in death by four brothers, Richard Browning, Luster Browning, Arby Browning and Levi Browning; one sister, Mae Smith; and brother-in-law, Arlie Lambdin.

He is survived by his wife, Sandie Sedy Browning of Frakes; one son, Quincy Browning (Juanita) of Carryville, Tenn.; one daughter, Ellen Marie Browning of Frakes; one granddaughter, Jordan Cheyenne Browning of Carryville, Tenn.; one sister, Della Lambdin of Frakes; one brother, Elmer Browning (JoAnn) of Jellico, Tenn.; special friends, Wayne and Mary Fuson of Frakes; sister-in-law, Jane Browning of Frakes; brother-in-law, Hugh Smith of Duff, Tenn.; and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

Visitation was after 6:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Croley Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March, 20, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Fuson and the Rev. Bernie Lambdin officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Browning-Fuson Cemetery on Lower Laurel Fork Road in Frakes.
