Edward "Eddie" Fenner, Jr. of East Point, GA took off his earthly robe in exchange of his Heavenly Crown on May 5, 2004, surrounded by his family. The Celebration of his ministry in music will be held on Monday, May 10, 2004 at 11:00 A.M. at Ben Hill United Methodist Church, 2099 Fairburn Rd., S.W. Instate 10:00 A.M. Rev. McCallister Hollis, Pastor, officiating. Interment, Forest Lawn Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence at 10:00 A.M. Eddie leaves a legacy of love to his devoted wife of 12 years, Mrs. Thea Alexander-Fenner, a loving mother, Beulah Mack; a caring mother in-law, Bettye Clark; his daughter, Chanel Fenner (Shawn Douglas); his two sons, Edward Fenner, III (Rita) and Calvin Fenner; two step-sons, Terry Waller, Jr. and Torry Waller; one step-daughter, Thea A. Waller; three sisters, Brenda Fenner, Linda Scott (Phillip King), and Jackie (Floyd) DesChamps; five grandchildren, Cameo, Jazzmin, Rahman, Ciara, and Elijuah. His love extended to numerous sisters and brothers in Christ; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, who all loved him dearly. Because of his love and deep affection for others, many referred to him lovingly as Brother Eddie and Uncle Eddie.A memorial service will be held for Edward "Eddie" "Butch" Fenner Jr., of East Point Georgia, on Saturday, June 5, 2004 at 11 a.m. in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, located on Baltimore Street in Brownsville, Pa.

Family and friends are asked to attend a celebration of the life of one who, over the years, touched so many through his gift of song.

He was a former resident of Hiller and member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church, where he was a choir director for the Gospel Chorus choir.

He was born Sept. 25, 1954, in Connellsville, Fayette Co., Pa., the eldest child and only son of Edward Fenner Sr. and Beulah Mack of Hiller.

Eddie was baptized at the Canaan Baptist Church in Hiller, Pa.

Eddie was a graduate of Brownsville Area High School and also attended the Fayette County Vocational School.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Fenner Sr., of Pittsburgh, Pa.; and grandparents, Orange and Lillie Tinsley of Royal, Pa.
