Robert Dean (Buck) Lotts, 80, of Lexington, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at his home.
He was born February 5, 1926 in Rockbridge County, a son of the late Robert Nelson Lotts and Sallie White Lotts.
Mr. Lotts was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, attended the Lauderdale ARP Church and was retired from Kane Construction.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, Carrol Sligh Lotts; two sons: Larry Dean Lotts, Richmond and Gregory Stephen Lotts, Lexington; three brothers: Curtis W. Lotts, Ollie E. Lotts, and Franklin L. Lotts; two sisters: Marion F. Moore and Helen Mae Clark, all of Lexington; and two grandchildren: Jason Stephen Lotts and Dylan Tate Weeks.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Zeb Carson Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with military rites. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday evening at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory.
