Irene McAtee, 78, of Memphis, retired Memphis City Schools teacher, died Friday at Overton Park Health Care Center. Services were at 1 p.m. Saturday at Memphis Funeral Home Poplar Chapel with burial in Memphis Memory Gardens.
Mrs. McAtee, the widow of C.J. McAtee, leaves two sons, William A. McAtee and Claude J. McAtee, both of Memphis; two sisters, Frances Sanford of Grenada, Miss., and Mary Sue Cave of Memphis; a brother, John Jacob Holland of Jackson, Miss., four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
