Burchie Roden Bradford, 78, of Muscle Shoals, died Dec. 29, 2009. Visitation was Thursday, Dec. 31, 2009, at Colbert Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2010, in the chapel, with burial in Colbert Memorial Gardens. Officiating will be Brother Johnny Johnston.
She was a member of Avalon Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bradford was preceded in death by her husband, Frank "F.W." Bradford; stepson, Doug Bradford; brothers, Rufus, Houston, Nathan, M.C., Layden, Ulysus and Grady Roden; sister, Helen Roden Frost.
Survivors include daughter, Gloria Oliver (Barney), of Muscle Shoals; two grandchildren, Troy and KayLynn Oliver; two sisters, Hazel Smith, of Leighton, and Myrtle Tobee, of Florida; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Carl Roden, Scott Rogge, Jamie Roden, Branden Briley, David Smith and Lee Roden.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Shoals Hospital ER, Mid-South Hospice and Health Care and Avalon Baptist Church.
