Benjamin Jenkins, age 61, of Main Road Cutchogue, died Nov 26 at 12:10 o'clock following an illness of six months.
Mr Jenkins was born Nov 11, 1896 in Powhatan County, Va. He has been a resident of the Cutchogue community for 35 years and served in World War One.
Besides his wife, Mrs Lucy Jenkins, he is survived by a daughter Hilda J Henderson of Washington D C; one sister Lelia Fleming; one brother Langston Jenkins; and two grandchildren Joan Williams and Ronald Henderson, both of Washington D C.
Funeral services were held Nov 29 at the First Baptist Church of Cutchogue with the Rev Isaac Cook officiating. Interment was in Cutchogue Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Albert E Seay.
