Flossie P. Jennings 1916-2006; STANBERRY, Mo. - Flossie Phillips Jennings, 89, of Stanberry, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2006, at a Stanberry nursing home.

Flossie, the daughter of Heber D. and Nellie (Bell) Phillips was born Dec. 25, 1916, in Ravenwood, Mo.

On Jan. 22, 1934, she was united in marriage to William S. Jennings Jr. He preceded her in death Aug. 13, 1998.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; son, William S. IV; grandson, Bryan Jennings; sister, Thelma Ruch; and four brothers, Raymond, George, D.H. and Andy Phillips.

Flossie was a homemaker. She was baptized in the Alanthus Baptist Church as a teenager. She moved her membership to the Stanberry First Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, teaching the primary age class for many years.

Funeral service: 2:30 p.m. Sunday, March 19, at Stanberry First Baptist Church. Burial: High Ridge Cemetery, Stanberry.
