Ellen Martha Beyler Spencer

Our sweet mom, grandma, great-grandma, great great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend passed peacefully away June 25, 2006 surrounded by those who loved her and cared for her in life. Ellen was born August 4, 1922 in Malta, Idaho to Leo William Beyler and Gladys Ellen Findley (sic) Beyler. She was the fourth of nine children. We as a family would like to express our appreciation to our sister, Debby; and her husband, Don, for opening their home and providing 11 months of tender loving care to our mother. Beneath the surface of this sweet and gentle soul she was her families rock. She loved and supported them through many of life's trials and joys. She was a loving caregiver to family and friends alike. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survived by her six children, Linda (Bruce, deceased) Nance, Karla (Don) Thornton, Kent (Lena) Spencer, Denise (Michael) Cantone, Debra (Don) Albrand, Steven (Pam) Spen-cer; 25 grandchildren; 69 great-grandchildren; seven great great-grandchildren; brothers, Grant (Clara) Beyler, Lamont Beyler; sisters, Veloy Buckingham, Edith Pack, Ressa (Fred) Davis, and Yvonne Monson.
Preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister. The family would like to express their appreciation to Affinity Hospice Service, especially to Marilyn, Yetta, Mechelle, and Rosalyn for loving her beyond their bounds as caregivers.
Viewing will be held at Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive, from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday June 27, 2006. Funeral services held Wednesday June 28, 2006, 1 p.m. at the Valley View 10th Ward chapel, 3900 South 2000 East. Viewing held one hour prior to the services.
