Peter was the son of Christopher Germanson and Marit Pedersdatter, both of Christiana, Norway. He was the husband of Mathilda Anderson of Sweden, and the father of Roy W. Germanson of Chicago, Illinois. He was the brother of Ingeborg Germanson, James (Mary, nee Lynch) Germanson, Sarah (William Cales) Bodin, Christopher (Lora, nee Ware) Germanson, Mary (Andrew) Newman, Julia (Daniel) Sholberg, Emma (Frank) Bodine, Julius Martin (Theresa, nee Weller) Germanson and Gilbert Otto (Amelia, nee Sievers) Germanson. Rest in Peace.
