Born at Green Hill, IN, she came to Lafayette in 1911. She was married to James H. Andrews, now a retired painter, in 1911 at Waukegan, IL. Sunday was their 54th wedding anniversary.
Surviving with her husband are three sons, Kenneth M. Andrews, a Lafayette city councilman and a teacher at Jefferson High School; Paul Andrews and Frank Andrews, also of Lafayette; a daughter, Mrs. John [Violet]Harbaugh of Dayton, OH; two brothers, Paul Bailey of Williamsport and Lester Bailey of rural Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Floyd Wakeman of Lafayette; and 13 grandchildren.
