Funeral Rites

Mrs. Owens
Funeral services for Mrs. Florence Owens, 79, who lived with her daughter, Mrs. Clara Belle Seward, 4815 Unitersity, will be held at 2 p. m. Saturday in the Weiland-Merritt Funeral Chapel, 2909 Live Oak. The Rev Thomas Bohannan, pastor of the Inwood Baptist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Restland Memorial Park.
Mrs. Owens died Thursday in a Dallas hospital.
She was born January 28, 1873 near Royse City, Rockwall-Collin County, and had lived for several years in Anson, Jones County. She moved to Dallas about ten years ago.
Surviving are a son L. H. Owens of Canyon, Randall County; four daughters, Mrs. E. T. Simpson of McKinney, Mrs. L. C. Butler of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. S. C. Evans and Mrs. Clara Belle Seward, both of Dallas; two brothers, Mat Owens [sic] of Vernon and J. B. Owens [sic] of Lubbock; fifteen grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Simpson, Rosamond, Evans, and Seward grandson.
