Excerpt--John H. McCabe, Sr., 57, of Morgantown, died Oct. 9, in the University Hospital. He was born July 17, 1920, in Kingwood, a son of the late John and Lilly Glover McCabe. He was a veteran of WW II and a retired coal miner. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Sisler McCabe; two sons, John H. McCabe, Jr. and James A. McCabe, both of Morgantown; one brother, James R. McCabe of Grafton Rd.; four sisters, Nettie Stonebreaker of Kingwood, Mrs. Marie Kiernan of Arnettsville, Mrs. Virginia Newcome of Morgantown, and Mrs. Leona Harvey of Fontana, Calf.; six grandchildren. Burial was in the Maplewood Cemetery, Kingwood.
