Uncle larry was a wonderful man very funny always with a kind word for everyone. He served in WWII and was at Normandy and teh Battle of the Bulge, told me this story: They had been hit very hard by the Germans and most of the unit was dead or had retreated and he and this other guy were alone and were walking down this snowy road in the woods trying to find the American lines. They come to a fork in the road and come accross a line of Tiger Tanks with a group of German Officers looking at a map and drinking cocoa. One of the Officers looked at him, pointed down the other road and said "Belgium is that way."

HE was a very nice man, very funny very kind.
