CLYDE - Annie Ruth Fletcher, 81, died Saturday at a Coleman hospital.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Clyde Cemetery with the Rev. Dennis Williams officiating, directed by Bailey Funeral Home.

Mrs. Fletcher was born in Natchitoches, La., and graduated from Natchitoches High School. She graduated from Louisiana Northwestern College with a bachelor's degree and taught school in Valera and in Louisiana. She managed an industrial cafeteria for 10 years and was a dietitian for M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston for eight years. She helped her husband in his Greyhound Van Lines business in Houston before retiring and moving to Clyde in 1974. She was a member of Cherry Heights Baptist Church and Clyde Chapter of Eastern Star 308. She married Albert Fletcher in 1939 in Natchitoches; he preceded her in death.
