Donis Covington Ballard, 91, passed away with her two loving sons by her side with grace and dignity, the same way she lived her life. Born on October 17, 1919, and a resident of Denham Springs. She was feisty, adoring, strong and completely in love with her husband and family.
Survived by: 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Buel & Milli Ballard and Billy & Len Ballard; son-in-law, Bobby Meadors; 9 grandchildren and spouses, Tootie and Jack Burge, Mike and Carol Ballard, Brandi and Channin Baker, Courtney Ballard, Bart and Dana Meadors, Tia and Daniel Sibley, Jolie and Doug Spring, Duke and Deanna Spring and Kristine Nichols; 9 great-grandchildren, Tiffany Burge Bigner and husband Trent, Hannah and Joshua Meadors, Dauton and Damian Sibley, Carleigh Adams, Carsyn Baker, Heidi and Wyatt Spring; 1 great-great-grandchild, Oaklee Bigner; numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: Husband, Elbert L. Ballard; parents, Lawson and Mary Allie Edge Covington; daughter, Brenda Faye Meadors; her sisters and brothers. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
