Services for Alex C. Brent Jr., 82, of 400 Liberty St., will be at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Babbage Funeral Home with the Rev. A.R. Lasley officiating. Burial will be in Cave Spring Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 8 until 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Brent died Saturday in Jennie Stuart Hospital. He was the son of the late Alex C. and Carrie Brent and had owned and operated A.C. Brent Cosmetic Co. in Chicago, Ill.
Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Grace C. Brent; three daughters, Miss Rhodina Brent, Mrs. Sandra L. Stavall and Mrs. Grace Ann Norwood, all of Chicago; three sons, Alexander Coleman Brent III, Maywood, Ill., Claudius C. and Junior W. Brent, both of Chicago, and eight grandchildren.
