Faribault Daily News, Nov. 17, 1951: uneral services for Mrs. Nellie Bennett of Minneapolis, a former Faribault resident, were held Thursday, November 15, at 11 a. m. at the Werness Brothers Chapel in Minneapolis. Burial was at 2:30 p. m. at Maple Lawn cemetery here, with the Rev. A. L. Rustad in charge. Mrs. Bennett was born March 2, 1868, in Coon Rapids, Iowa, and died November 12 in Minneapolis. She is survived by a son, Carl of Edina; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Zuehlke of Minneapolis; a grandson, Robert Zuehlke; a sister, Mrs. Emma Davis, Des Moines, Iowa; and two brothers, Jesse Smith of Berwyn, Alberta, Canada, and Harry Smith of Coon Rapids. In the Smith family there were 10 children of whom three now survive. Ella, twin sister of the deceased, died June 24, 1933. Mrs. Bennett lived in Faribault from 1911 to 1937, when she moved to Minneapolis.
