Mrs. Mary Saylor, Mother of Mrs. James Wright died at thier southeast ofCross Timbers, tuesday Jan. 21, 1908.
Mrs. Saylor was nearly 84 years of age at the time of death. She was aconsitant member of the Freewill Baptist Church and died in that faith.She was the widow of Cyrus G. Saylor who passed away several years sincein Illinois. There were seven children of which five are now living. TheFuneral was preached at the Clark School on Thursday by Rev. J.H. Pack ofHermitage after which her remains were buried in Clark Cemetary.
Mrs. Saylor had been a sufferer for a long time, the tired body is atrest and she's gone to rejoin the loved ones gone on before. Tis sweet tothink that on our eyes, a lovier time shall yet arise. That we shall wakefrom sorrows dream, beside that pure and radient stream.
