Charles Hayes died Sunday morning at about 8 o'clock and was buried on Wednesday. He had been ailing about three years but only confined to his house about three weeks. Had he lived until the 6th of next month he would have been eighty-eight years of age. He was one of the 600 United Brethren that Pres.Woodruff converted and baptized in Herefordshire, England. He was a brickmaker by trade and made a great many brick both in. the old country and here. He came to Utah over twenty years ago and has made his home in Bountiful ever since. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his loss. Funeral services took place at the tabernacle on Wednesday at 10 am. Ephraim Briggs, Samuel Bryson, Ephraim Barnett, John Kynaston, James Green and C.R.Jones were the speakers.
