The funeral of Mrs. Robert Ramsy took place from the Presbyterian Church in Nortonville on Tuesday, Rev. Osborne officiating in the absence of Dr. Bailey, the pastor. Mrs. Ramsy died on Last Lords day, at 3 P.M. in 69th year, after a sickness of some ten days of pneumonia. She was born in Ireland. Emigrated to America in 1847, living for some ten years in Pennsylvania; thence to Iowa, and Kansas in 1875. She with her husband has been connected with the Presbyterian Church for 30 years and died in hope of a home in Heaven. She leaves quite a large family all grown to maturity and most of them married of whom Mrs. J. P. Vanatta is one. Evidently, Mrs. Ramsey was highly esteemed by her neighbors as manifested by evidences quite as significant as words.
