GOENS - Miss Alice Goens, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Goens, who reside a few miles west of Brownstown, died Friday morning about 3:30 at the home of her aunt, Mrs. Lou Tabor, in Brownstown, after an illness of only a few days of pneumonia.
Age 18 years, 11 months and 5 days.
She went to Brownstown a week or two ago to stay with her aunt and was taken seriously ill in a few days. She was a niece of Omer Goens, of this city, who, with his family, went to Brownstown Saturday morning to attend the funeral.
The funeral services were at the residence of Mrs. Tabor in Brownstown Saturday morning at eleven o'clock in charge of Rev. W. E. Payne.
Burial at the Smallwood Cemetery five miles west of Brownstown.
