Joyce Pittman Brooks, age 84 of Jasper, Georgia passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at Kindred Hospital Rome.
She was born June 11, 1933 to Steven and Mamie Pittman in Blackshear, Georgia.
Mrs. Brooks is survived by son, Randy Brooks of Jasper;
grandchildren, Luna Brooks of Jasper, Natalie Johnson of Ellijay;
sister, Anne Bayne of Milledgeville;
brothers, Steven Pittman of Brunswick, Andy Pittman of Gray and Grady Pittman of Gray.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Brooks.
Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Reverend Ben Mock officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 24, 2018 in the Waters Cemetery in Blackshear, Georgia.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
