CHUCKEY, Tenn. - Harmon W. Malone, 91, Chuckey, Tenn., went to be with the Lord on Saturday (July 9, 2006) at Life Care Center of Greeneville following a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his loving and devoted spouse of 66 years, Sylvia A Malone, on April 14, 2006; one son, Hal Malone; parents, Marion and Addie Malone; three brothers, Grover, Bill, and Leroy Malone; and one sister, Hazel Neas.
Surviving are two daughters, Arnell Mitchell and husband James J. Mitchell, Jonesborough; Pat Martin and husband Steve Martin, Kingsport; three grandchildren, Kelly Mitchell, Brian Mitchell and wife Heather, Kimberly Collier and husband Brad; three great-grandchildren, Dakota Mitchell, Madison Martin, and Gracie Mitchell; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Fall Branch.
Funeral services will be conducted at 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Fall Branch Chapel, with Rev. Richard Bowers officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Logan's Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Family members and friends will serve as pallbearers.
