CROSSON --- Edward Crosson died Tuesday, Aug. 28, of rheumatism of the heart after a half a day's sickness. Deceased was born Aug. 12, 1843, in Ireland. He came to this country when a small boy. For many years Mr. Crosson lived on a farm in Grout township, but passed the later years of his life in this city, and was one of the most highly respected citizens of the county. His life was characterized by great industry; he was never idle.

Funeral services were held in the Catholic church Friday morning by Father Racette of Pinconning. Interment took place in Highland cemetery. Deceased leaves a wife, a sister, two sons and two daughters. His sister, Mrs. Mary Bouch of Gratiot county, daughter, Mrs. Anna Duprey of Detroit, and son, Pat Crosson of Saginaw attended the funeral. Two children, Mrs. Nellie Stock and Mathew Crosson are residents respectively of Gladwin and Hockaday. Gladwin County Record dated 8-30/1906 Column – 2 Page – 8.
