Herbert E. Adams was born in the Palestine community in Christian County. He was married to Belva Henderson and they have a daughter, Mrs. Percy Groves of Nashville, and two sons, James Granville and Duard Lynn Adams. His Mother, Mrs. B.C. Adams Fuller and his brother, Rev. Cleo Adams live in the Palestine section, while two sisters, Mrs. Orville Keyes and Mrs. O.R. Henderson, make their homes in the city.
