On April 6, 1892 he married Lora Barse, Herkimer.
He leaves his wife, three daughters, Mrs. Frank Peterson, Herkimer; Mrs. L. J. Longfritz, Ilion and Mrs. A. J. Morris, Newark, NY; two brothers, George, Herkimer and Richard, Utica; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Scanlon and Mrs. Mary Staring, both of Herkimer.
