Trained in dance while young and moved to Paris with her mother at the age of 10 to study, Moran danced and sang for several years at the Paris National Opera and appeared in two silents while there. From 1924 to 1931, she appeared in over 30 Hollywood motion pictures, including "Stella Dallas," "The Road to Mandalay," and "Mammy."
