Mrs. Margie F. Bollen, 63, 38 New St., died Friday, February 26, in the Cedartown hospital. She was born Septembe 20, 1929 in Polk County. She was a homemaker and a member of the Mableton Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by husbands, Clyde Stone and Dewey Bollen and father, William (Bill) Fry, brother Douglas Fry and sister Mary Fry. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lucille Fry, Rockmart; four sons, Jim Stone, Lilburn; Randy Stone, Rockmart; Mike Bollen, Gahanna, Ohio; and Greg Bollen, Rockmart; a daughter, Mrs. Beverly Goss, Rockmart; two brothers, Benny Fry, Mableton, Harry Fry, Rockmart; two sisters, Mrs. Peggy Bowman, Rome, Mrs. Nancy Phillips, Rockmart; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 1 in the chapel of the Freeman Harris Funeral Home with the Rev. David Taylor officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Phillips, Dewayne Fry, Robert Fry, Richard Cook, Larry Cook and Rhual Turner. Freeman Harris Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. (The Rockmart Journal, March 10, 1993)
