Herkimer - Clarence L. Avery, 61, formerly of Herkimer, died yesterday in his home, Rockford, Ill.
He was born in Herkimer, son of Charles P, and Meribah Small Avery. He married Evangelina Gilbert.
The couple moved to Rockford about 25 years ago, where he was employed as a mechanical engineer by the Woodward Governor Company.
In addition to his wife he leaves a brother, Hazelton S. Avery, Romney, Ind.
The funeral... burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer.
