RINGGOLD, GA - Catherine "Marcella" Kirk, 64, died Monday, April 9, 2012, at her residence.
She was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga, TN area and was a member of Spring Creek Road Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Farrell Kirk.
She is survived by a son, Mal O. (Julie) Brockett III, Soddy-Daisy; a daughter, Elizabeth "Lisa" (Joey) Holland, East Ridge; and a brother, Fred Shell, Rome, Ga.; grandchildren, Amber Brockett, Danielle Holland, Katelyn Guy, Joseph Brockett, Shawn Williams, Mayson Guy, Mallory Holland, Michelle Holland, David Brockett and Sheyenne Williams; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor James Julian Officiating.
Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Spring Creek Road Baptist Church, 1312 Spring Creek Road, East Ridge, TN 37412.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. today at Heritage Funeral Home & Crematory, Battlefield Parkway, Fort Oglethrope, GA.
