NEWVILLE - Pearl V. Holtry, 70, of Newville RD 6, died Thursday in Carlisle Hospital.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and its Pathfinders Program; and a former employee of Shippensburg State Teachers College.
Surviving are her husband, Eber J. Holtry Sr.; five daughters, Mary L. Weigle of St. Augustine, Fla., Nelly M. of Tappahannock, Va., Laurel Norman and Betty A. Graham, both of Newville RD 5, and Kathryn E. Wells of Newburg RD 1; four sons, Eber Jr. of Newville RD 6, John E. of York Haven, Paul S. of Mifflintown, and Charles K. of Duncannon; a brother, John D. Hollenbaugh of St. Augustine; four sisters, Esther W. Haskins of Vero Beach, Fla., Bertha C. Shannon of Newville RD 1, Mabel E. Jumper of Carlisle, and Mary R. Mowers of Shippensburg; 26 grandchildren, six stepgrandchilldren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Fogelsanger Funeral Home, Shippensburg, with the Rev. D.E. Lund officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
