Death of an Old Settler.
The news has just been received here of the death of Jonathan Crosby, of the town of Brockway, who passed away about ten days ago. He died from paralysis and was 72 years old. He leaves a wife and a family of grown up sons and daughters who are well known in that part of the county. The deceased was one of the early settlers in this state. He came to Minnesota, in 1855, locating on Platte River, then he went to St. Francis, later to Minneapolis, and in 1865 he came to Brockway and has made his home there ever since The deceased was one of the prominent citizens of the town and was respected by all who knew him.
