Deacon Hezekiah Hubbard was born in Groton, MA, January 19, 1757, son of Nathan and Mary (Patterson) Hubbard, and a brother of Nathan Hubbard of Rindge, his sisters Susannah (md. Joseph Bancroft) and Amy (md. Joseph Moors) also settled in Rindge. Hezekiah married, Rebekah Hutchinson, of Billerica, MA. In the Revolution Hezekiah was in Capt. Stone's company in 1777. Hezekiah and Rebekah settled on, what has been known ever since as, Hubbard Hill about 1783. He was a highly respected citizen and was for many years a deacon of the Congregational Church. Hezekiah and Rebekah had thirteen children. Hezekiah died very suddenly, April 22, 1822, aged 66 years.
