Ellen Clark Abely, wife of John K. Abely died on December 23rd, at the age of 74. Ellen was born on September 20th, 1936 in Boston, MA to Edward and Elizabeth Clark.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, John K. Abely Jr. and his wife Susan, of Basking Ridge, NJ, her daughter Kristin A. Dolan and her husband Thomas, of New Canaan, CT, her four grandchildren, Brian and Claire Abely and Mary Ellen and Brendan Dolan. Ellen is also survived by her brother Edward F. Clark Jr. and his wife Kathleen.
Ellen was predeceased by her daughter Maryellen on May14, 1995.
Mrs. Abely graduated from Regis College class of 1958 and was a longtime member of Shorehaven Golf Club.
A wake will be held Monday, December 27th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06851. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 28th, at 10:00 AM in St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06854. Burial will follow in Assumption-Greens Farms Cemetery, Westport, CT 06880.
