Mrs. Susan G. Sack, 78, of Amsterdam died Saturday in Minerva Convalescent Center following a two and a half year illness. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Amsterdam, and its Altar and Rosary Society. Mrs. Sack also was a member of the Amsterdam Senior Citizens organization and the Grange.
Surviving are four sons, August of North Canton, Thomas A. of Zoar, William F. of East Springfield and Joseph F. of Amsterdam; a daughter, Mrs. Edward Gregor of Amsterdam; two sisters, including Mrs. Frances McLaughlin of Amsterdam; two brothers, 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph E. Sack, died in 1969. Services were Monday in the church with Fr. John Galea officiating. Burial was in St. Steuben Estates, in Wintersville.
