Hastings, Minn.—Michael McDermott died at his home in Douglas last Saturday
week, aged 87 years. He was an early resident of Dakota county, formerly of
Ravenna, and leaves a wife, three sons. John and James, of Douglas, Patrick, of
this city and seven daughters, Mrs. Anthony MeGuiggan, of Winnebago City
Mrs. James Brennan, of Welch Mrs. Owen MeKenna and Mrs. J. Stevens, of Hastings
Miss Winnie McDermott, of St. Paul and Misses Tessie and Nora McDermott, of Douglas.
The funeral was held from St. Joseph's church, Miesville, on Monday, at 10 a.m., the
Rev. Alois Heller officiating.
